OUR HISTORY
The first steps in the hair cosmetics industry were taken in 1995. After several years of experience as a 'sales consultant' at companies such as Indola and Davines, the vocation to start up his own company had become so great that Joël Vertommen in 2007 company JV Consulting Bvba.

After several years of training abroad (the Netherlands, Germany and South Korea), Joël started his hairdressing scissors sharpening shop in 2010 namely 'Sharpening Factory'. A hobby became a passion and the passion continued with the development of the private label “Line-Scissors”.
In 2013, the first Line scissors hairdressing scissors rolled off the production line. The 'Step in' collection was born and the other collections quickly followed, so Line-scissors currently offers 5 collections in 6 different steel types, in both right-handed and left-handed models!

In 2015 there is the opening of Line-scissors Luxembourg and soon the distribution is further expanded to France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany and Greece. From 2016, Jv Consulting will also start a 'private label' department, which academies at home and abroad make use of.
Years of studies and research have resulted in the expertise with which every pair of scissors is professionally manufactured today. A professional, efficient, ergonomic tool for a fast and accurate cut.
Line scissors strives for absolute perfection. Our vision is very clear. Due to the fact that we have expanded our collection to 6 different Japanese steel types, we try to bring a perfect pair of scissors to the market for everyone's budget. With line scissors you do not buy the model, but you buy the steel type and you can find the right model to suit your needs without obligation. We work directly with the manufacturers and no trading companies!

FOUNDER
Joel vertommen is an authorised japanese scissors sharpener.
He learned and practiced the traditional scissorsharpening skills and is taught the technics of genuine japanes hand-sharpening skills for handmade scissors.
